Richard Arnold Beattie Season 1 Episode 9

How do you spell Success? Hey everyone, it’s Richard Arnold Beattie and no matter where I go, and talk to people- there is a thin line between financial and creative success. Finances can be pretty boring unless you look at the narrative of beginning middle and end. You’ve heard it said, that “form follows function,” but in story and story boarding; process follows outcome! So, paint a creative picture of words and music and start with outcome. Then, do the math, how do you get there? For journalists this is called Objective Thinking. For Marketing Professionals, it’s called forecasting; and for musicians it’s hearing in your mind, words and music by taking each segment and playing and singing it the way you imagined it to sound. Success is a daily discipline that takes practice. In my “creative practice” I have drawn up a map of seven things I do each day for daily SUCCESS.  In the same vein as “7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” by Stephen Covey, this details a daily regimen of the things I do, to run my non-profit; my creative practice and gives me the little “wins” in moving the ball forward. I know that Soul Work Author, Lowell Busenitz talks about Innovation as being the Soul to Innovation. His work in the study of Parables, cemented the value of parables in regard to work! When you become a member of Soul Work Force, or book a workshop at your place of business; your school, community center or church; The Guide to Creative Success is a key workshop. In my first interview with Lowell, we discussed the value of setting time aside to Think.
