Rocky Mountain Legacy - Richard Arnold Beattie

Richard Arnold Beattie Season 1 Episode 1

The Rocky Mountain Legacy Soundtracks 1994-1996

Between the instrumentals and the vocals there are portraits of men and women who were pioneers in one way or another. When Richard Arnold Beattie came to Denver in 1978, he was a young 20-year-old kid with a musical theater background and the beginnings of a career as a singer-songwriter and journalist. He practiced writing new and original songs, studied Colorado history, and met some people along the way. Rocky Mountain Legacy shares some of those stories. At 66 years of age, Beattie brings those stories to life, with a guitar in hand; a microphone and he tells the stories in anthology form.
